As a regional partner of the IPPN, we’ll highlight the latest in Phenotyping in North America as well as cutting edge research from our international partners.
This year’s conference is packed with Plenary Talks, Research Talks, Lightning Talks, and Technology Talks. It’s an all-online experience which includes Poster Sessions, a Career Fair, Virtual Worshops, Virtual Field Trips, and the NAPPN Community Meeting.
15 Sessions. Over 80 talks.
Sessions will stream live through Zoom, and on-demand through Vimeo, to all registered attendees. You will also be able to follow along with our mobile Whova conference app to get the latest news and updates.
The conference webpage will remain accessible. All content will be accessible through the Whova platform for all registrants for a period of at least 3 months after the conclusion of the conference.
Talks
Plenary Talks
20 minutes.
Featured speakers, including past NAPPN Early Career awardees, will present 20-minute research talks in each General Session.
Research Talks
10 minutes.
Speakers selected from abstracts will present 10-minute research talks in each General Session.
Lightning Talks
6 minutes.
These short talks will allow presenters to highlight their most impactful work.
Tech Talks
10 minutes.
Speakers selected from abstracts will present 10-minute talks that highlight advances in plant phenomics hardware, software, and biotechnology solutions.
Poster Talks
4 minutes.
Selected posters will be highlighted by the authors in 4 minute talks.
Poster Session
Posters and Exhibitors will be able to have a presence during the entire meeting, and this dedicated time enables discussion with the poster presenters and exhibitors!
Career Fair
Our virtual career fair gives candidates and employers a chance to meet one another, build a professional network, and discuss opportunities for jobs and internships.
Virtual Workshops
Workshops will be available for remote hands-on learning and deep discussion of specific topic areas. The deadline for Workshop Proposals to the Program Committee was January 15, 2021.
Virtual Field Trips / Tours
Virtual field trips and tours will provide an opportunity to virtually visit phenotyping, robotics, agricultural, and other facilities and groups.
NAPPN Community Meeting
The NAPPN Community Meeting is open to the public. Come learn about the NAPPN mission and recent activities and how to get involved!
